ATTENTION LAID OFF EMPLOYEES!!!

As most of you know, a request was made to the government for tuition assistance for our employees affected by the plant closing. This TAA application has been denied. But as of June 11, 2010 an appeal has been filed.

Some of our laid off employees have been getting letters to report to Lordstown, OH. This is a forced move that you must accept or you will be placed on Indefinite Lay-off, which the only recall rights you would have to a GM facility would be to Pontiac Assembly Center, a permanently closed location. Any questions can be directed to the numbers listed above.

An opportunity for our skilled trades will be coming late this fall. Local 160 will be needing all trades and taking volunteers first. If interested, be sure to put in for this Local.
